Two nights at the edge of the salt. The shortest way to fall for Kutch.
Drive times are indicative, at caravan pace with a chai stop. Pickup and drop in Bhuj.
Day 1 · Bhuj to the White Rann
About 2 h on the road · 85 km
Pickup in Bhuj after lunch. Out onto the salt for sunset, then dinner by the caravan while the day-trippers drive back.
Day 2 · Up to Kalo Dungar
About 1 h on the road · 50 km
Sunrise on the Rann from your bed. An easy hour north to Kalo Dungar for the view over everything you drove across.
Day 3 · Back to Bhuj
About 3 h on the road · 135 km
Slow breakfast on the roof, then back to Bhuj by lunch.
